The actor and writer Charles Busch is set to descend on Sag Harbor on Saturday, July 26, with a one-off concert at the Bay Street Theater. The evening will comprise of his signature cocktail of music, comedy and cabaret.
Mr. Busch rose to acclaim as the author and star of plays including “The Divine Sister,”, “Vampire Lesbians of Sodom” and the Tony-nominated “The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife.” His work in film has also been noteworthy, with him winning Best Performance at the 2003 Sundance Awards for his leading role in “Die Mommie Die,” the screen adaptation of his play.
Having taken leading roles in “Auntie Mame,”, “Shanghai Moon,” and “The Lady in Question,” which ran in Sag Harbor, Mr. Busch is no stranger to the Bay Street Theater.
