Marco With Love will perform at the Talkhouse next Tuesday.
Peter Landi is a busy guy—he will be playing with two different bands at the Stephen Talkhouse on Tuesday, August 19.
Mr. Landi, who was born and raised in Sag Harbor, will be playing with his band The Glazzies as well as with the more recently formed band, Marco With Love.
Marco With Love will begin their night with an in-store performance at Innersleeve Record’s Amagansett location at 5 p.m. Marco With Love and the Glazzies will then play at show at the Talkhouse.
Mr. Landi, who originally played with Marco Arigo in the band The Killing Floor, was asked to play drums for Mr. Arigo’s solo project. However, after the group began playing along with Richard Maheux, Blaine O’Brien and Subodh Samudre, the recordings sounded totally different—in a good way, they say—and the group decided to continue playing as a full band. At the Talkhouse, they will perform songs off of Marco Agiro’s EP “Love” as well as a few of their original works.
Mr. Landi is also a member of the band The Glazzies, which formed after he graduated from Pierson High School. The Glazzies, whose lineup consists of Mr. Landi on guitar and vocals and fellow Pierson graduate David Horn on drums, released their debut album “Time Bomb Love” in 2012 and are releasing their second album “Kill Me Kindly” this year.
The show at the Talkhouse begins at 7:30 p.m. and is for audiences 21 and over. Tickets are $10. For more information, visit stephentalkhouse.com.
