The fourth annual “Salon des Refuses” show at The Crazy Monkey Gallery opens with a reception on January 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. The original Salon des Refuses refers to the more than 3,000 avant-garde works of art rejected by the jury at the Paris Salon in 1863, and exhibited at an annex to the official Salon, crating an alternative exhibition movement.
Crazy Monkey is located at 136 Main Street, Amagansett. The exibition is on view until January 27.
