Two defending Suffolk County basketball champions came to Sag Harbor last Wednesday night and both left Pierson High School having lost to the surging Whalers.

Lance Corporal Jordan C. Haerter and Marine Corporal Jonathan Yale are credited with saving the lives of over a hundred Marines and Iraqi soldiers in a 2008 attack that claimed the lives of both young men.

Sagaponack and Bridgehampton Residents Criticize Proposed Changes to Bridge Lane Bridge

Some 30 residents of Sagaponack and Bridgehampton came to the Bridgehampton Community Center last Wednesday night to express their concerns over a project they say will change the face of their home — the rehabilitation of the bridge that gives Bridge Lane its name.
