Posted on 27 February 2013

The Sag Harbor Village Historic Preservation and Architectural Review Board (ARB) approved four applications during its second monthly meeting, on Monday, February 25.

Brad and Andressa Penuel were approved for the reconstruction and an addition on their Harrison Street home, which will have a new Craftsman design with elements borrowed from classic 1920s and 1930s. Denise Salomon was also approved for dormer/bath addition at her Ackerly Street home. Jeff Resnick was also approved to replace an iron banister at the former Phao Restaurant and replace it with a wooden flower box. He was also approved to paint the patio a lighter color.

Jill Scheerer’s application for maintenance and a new awning at her 26 Main Street building was tabled while the board awaits paint samples, according to ARB secretary Doris Alvarez.

The next Sag Harbor ARB meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14 at 5 p.m.
