Rental Registry

The East Hampton Town Board scheduled two informational meetings about its proposed rental registry law for the work sessions on Tuesday, October 14, in Montauk and on Tuesday, October 21 at Town Hall.

The proposed law would require all rental properties to register with the town before renting out their properties, in order to deal with the problem of illegal rentals and excessive turnover.
