Espresso Italian Market Building on the Market

The Division Street, Sag Harbor building that houses Espresso Italian Market in Sag Harbor is back on the market, returning to Town & Country Real Estate (www.1townandcountry.com) with a $2.275 million listing, down from $3.6 million when the property was first listed in 2009.

The property features a 1,000 square-foot café with 20 seats. According to Hal Zwick’s listing with Town & Country Real Estate, the sale includes the turnkey operation, including equipment. The property also includes a 2,400 square foot attached residential house on a total of 0.17-acres.

    LOTS OF HISTORY THERE. I REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS “CLEVELAND SUPERETTE” OWNED AND OPERATED BY ARTHUR CLEVELAND.

    Well – one by one, our beloved Sag Harbor institutions are disappearing down the rabbit hole _ Java Nation, Bookhampton, The Pizza Place, the Ice Cream place – and it’s all because of greedy landlords and no one is doing anything about it. Such sorrow!
