“Honestly Good” Sweet Treats

Posted on 05 August 2014

Operating out of Southampton, a new company, Old School Favorites, is bringing its range of healthy artisanal treats to the East End this summer. Comprised of natural, no-preservative ingredients, the snacks can be enjoyed guilt-free, with the small batches evoking a nostalgia for the simple pleasures of days gone by.

Old School Favorites currently have two products on the market: Szauce and Nutsz. Szauce is a gourmet chocolate sauce, comprised of organic ingredients both local and exotic. Though satisfying on its own, the sauce is ideal for incorporation into other sweeter dishes. Nutsz, meanwhile, are California walnuts housed in shells made of maple syrup from New York, and make wonderful snacks.

Nutsz are available in 7oz. bags, which are priced at $10, while the Szauce is available in jars of 4oz. and 8oz., which cost $5 and $10 respectively. The Old School Favorites’ products can be found at a series of Southampton locations, as well as online at www.oldschoolfavorites.com.
