Non-Oceanfront Home Sold for $18 Million

Posted on 14 December 2012

In mid-November, Saunders & Associates (www.hamptonsrealestate.com), with offices in Bridgehampton and Southampton, announced that broker Louise Linden achieved a sale for a 3.9-acre property on Sagg Pond in Sagaponack Village for $18 million. The deal is one of the highest prices paid for a non-oceanfront parcel that is four-acres or less on the North and South forks.

Located on Sagg Pond in Sagaponack Village, the property offers vistas of Sagg Pond as well as an existing three-bedroom, three and a half bath modern home and has the ability to accommodate an estate.

Saunders & Associates marketed the property using photography, its own dedicated website and high-definition 360 degree tours at www.555SagaponackRoad.com.

According to Linden, there were three qualified buyers bidding on the property before its sale. The broker has been investing in Hamptons real estate since the late 1970s.

Linden is one of 97 brokers at Saunders & Associates. Recent hires include former Motown Promotion Director, Noel Love, real estate developer, investor and attorney Alan Schnurman, Krae Van Sickle, and Chris Coleman from The Corcoran Group; as well as Vincent Horcasitas, who worked at Prudential Douglas Elliman.

In this year alone more than 25 brokers departed other East End real estate agencies to join Saunders.
