Last month, the Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton (toppingrosehouse.com) debuted its raw bar, featuring a variety of East Coast oysters from the nearby Blue Island Oyster Company.
Guests at the restaurant at Topping Rose House can watch as fresh oysters are shucked on the back porch of the restored Bridgehampton mansion, while enjoying views of the lush property with a cocktail or glass of wine.
Oysters are available to all guests at the restaurant and bar and are served by the half or full dozen between 5 and 8 p.m., seven days a week through Labor Day. The oysters are priced at $3.50 each.
