Seal of Approval Created for Wedding Vendors

Posted on 06 September 2013

NorthForkWeddings.com and SouthForkWeddings.com have announced the launch of their Seal of Approval Vendor Screening for wedding and special event service providers serving Long Island’s East End, including the North Fork and the South Fork.

Now, couples planning a wedding on Long Island’s East End can search for services among the members of this directory, knowing that some of the preliminary screening for reliability and professionalism has already been done for them.

“The fun of wedding planning can quickly turn into the drudge of checking references and reading the fine print in contracts for every service provider you are hiring,” said North Fork Weddings President Judy McCleery. “We have already done some checking and verifying, inviting only the vendors we trust to list their services on our directory. When a couple chooses a vendor with our Seal of Approval, they have proof that the vendors are reliable, have a proven track record, and offer a great customer experience.”

On September 1, members of the directory began to display a window decal displaying the seal, as well as a badge to place on their website and in other promotional materials. McCleery explained that the seal signifies that the member meets minimum standards of professionalism, reliability and expertise in the field that is required for membership.

McCleery also noted that although the directories are associated with wedding planning, most members also provide services for other events and celebrations, and encourages anyone seeking party services, entertainment, lodging or transportation services to visit NorthForkWeddings.com orSouthForkWeddings.com to find reliable vendors.
