The Wellness Foundation of East Hampton will present their annual Fall Seminar on Tuesday, September 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the East Hampton Middle School Auditorium on Newtown Lane in East Hampton. Featured speaker Dr. T. Colin Campbell will present a program on his new best-selling book “Whole: Rethinking the Science of Nutrition.”
A distinguished member of Wellness Foundation’s Advisory Council, Dr. Campbell is an American biochemist who specializes in the effect of nutrition on long-term health. He is the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University, is featured in the documentary film “Forks Over Knives,” and is one of the country’s leading advocates of a plant-based diet. He has authored over 300 research papers on the subject, and two books, including his new book “Whole” and “The China Study,” which is one of America’s best-selling books about nutrition.
After the program, Dr. Campbell will sign copes of “Whole” and “The China Study Cookbook.” Other event highlights include healthy refreshments by Simply Sublime and registration for Wellness Foundation’s Fall Wellness Challenge.
