Andrew A. Weiss

Andrew A. Weiss, “Andy” died on July 25th, 2012, he was 63 years old.  Born on September 10th, 1948 in New York City, graduated from East Hampton High School dedicated his passion towards a life long career in architecture earning his bachelors degree in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology. Mr. Weiss worked on the East End for over 30 years, responsible for numerous projects both commercial and residential.  In 2011 and 2012 he was nominated President of AIA Peconic, helping bring together a community of local architects.

“Andy” Weiss is survived by two sisters, Nancy Weiss and Mariana Rilleau and his only daughter Molly Morgan Weiss.  He is remembered as a passionate architect, the most loving and adoring father, being seen at all the local coffee shops and a die hard Yankee fan, said his family.

Memorial Service is  Sunday, August 5th, 2012 at Peters Pond Beach in Sagaponack. Celebration of his life starts at 5:30pm. Individual donations for Habitat for Humanity, can be made privately in Andy Weiss’s honor at www.habitatsuffolk.org   Creating affordable home ownership opportunities for families in need, a cause that both Mr. Weiss and his daughter Molly feel strongly about.
