Ann Marie Jones, a lifelong resident of Sag Harbor, died on the morning of July 4 at the age of 93 surrounded by her children.
She was the only child of Bill and Hattie Trimpin. Her father, a local plumber, was a Sag Harbor Village Trustee for 16 years and mayor for the five years prior to his death.

Long Beach, they said, was her favorite bathing spot and tending her garden a favorite pastime.
