Jack Musnicki, of Bridgehampton, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at the age of 72.

Mr. Musnicki came from a family of potato farmers and his family noted that he had always fostered a strong connection with the land.

“He was also very creative, which was passed on to his children and grandchildren in many different ways,” added the family.

A gifted gardener, Mr. Musnicki was a well respected nurseryman and past president and member of the Bridgehampton Lions Club for over 40 years. He was also past president and member of the Bridgehampton Community House and a very active member of his church.

“Above all,” said his family, “Jack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.”

Mr. Musnicki is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy Musnicki; his son, John Musnicki and wife, Michelle Musnicki of East Hampton; his daughter Jill Musnicki and husband, Jameson Ellis of Sag Harbor; his daughter Jodi Dee and husband, Chris Dee of Babylon; his daughter Jenna Musnicki and husband, Joel Rodriguez of Brooklyn; his eight grand children, Wylee, Zane, Hudson, Ravenel, Riley, Ronan, Zoheila and Joaquin; his brother Tom Musnicki and wife Ann of Garden City; and his sister Joan Armusewicz of West Palm Beach, Fla. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Laura Musnicki.
