Angelina Mazzeo-Roll, a longtime resident of Sag Harbor, died at Southampton Hospital on Sunday, September 21. She was 89 years old.
Born in Riverhead on January 28, 1919, she was the daughter of James V. and Anna (Benko) DeCristofaro.
Mrs. Mazzeo-Roll was a graduate of Riverhead High School in 1938 and was a member of the Columbiettes and the St. Andrew Altar Society in Sag Harbor.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Anthony Mazzeo in 1977 and her second husband, John Roll, in 1992.
She is survived by her children, Vincent Mazzeo of Sag Harbor, Anjela Ross and Joanne Kelly, both of Sagaponack, and Anthony Mazzeo of Virginia, Minn.
She is survived by grandchildren Donna Ross Levy, Michael Lyons, Cynthia Lyons Williams, Nicholas Mazzeo, Lauryn Mazzeo, Theresa Mazzeo Hmielenski, Carol Mazzzeo Pulchino, William Mazzeo and David Mazzeo. She was predeceased by her grandson Richard Ross.
Services were held at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 23. Mass was said at St. Andrew Church on Wednesday, September 24. Interment followed at St. Andrew Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Sag Harbor Ambulance Corps or the Dominican Sisters.
Terence Peter Ward
Terence Peter Ward, formerly of Sag Harbor, and recently a resident of the Manors at Hobe Sound, Florida, died August 27, 2008 at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Fla., from complications due to pneumonia.
Terry, as he was known by family and friends, was 44 years old.
Mr. Ward was born in Southampton Hospital on July 15, 1964, the fourth child of Helen and Richard L. Ward of Sag Harbor. His parents have both predeceased him.
Mr. Ward is survived by his sisters, Pamela Hudson of East Hampton, Deborah A. Mahoney of St. Augustine, Fla., and brother Richard L. Ward Jr., of Grove City, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Andrew RC Church on Saturday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m.
