Should Friday’s game move forward, the Sag Harbor Booster Club will host the second annual Spirit Night tomorrow, January 11, where, for the first time ever, the school’s band will sit in the stands and play music during select timeouts.
In addition to the band, the high school chorus will sing the national anthem before tip-off and the school’s Robotics Club will put on a demonstration at halftime. There will also be a half-court shooting contest and dance performances by the Pierson and Bridgehampton cheerleader squads at halftime. The Booster Club will also host a full concession stand at the entry.
“We’re trying to create community spirit to support our kids in Sag Harbor,” said club member Robert Evjen.
