The John Jermain Memorial Library (JJML) will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2013 operating budget and candidate forum at its temporary 34 West Water Street home on Wednesday, September 19 at 5:15 p.m.
Afterwards, it will host its monthly board of trustees meeting at 6 p.m.
The JJML board has proposed a $1,311,812 operating budget for 2013, as well as $905,000 for debt service on the voter approved restoration and expansion of its historic, Main Street, Sag Harbor facility.
With board president Chris Leonard having reached his term limit, former JJML board member Craig Rhodes – unseated in last year’s board race – will run for a place on the board alongside incumbent board member Michael Garabedian.
