Sag Harbor Village Declares State of Emergency as Hurricane Irene Continues up the Eastern Seaboard

Sag Harbor Village Mayor Brian Gilbride has declared a state of emergency, effective at 1 p.m. on Saturday, as village crews continue to prepare the community for the onslaught of Hurricane Irene, which is expected to make landfall tomorrow morning somewhere in western Long Island.
