Working Families Endorses Democratic Slate in East Hampton

Posted on 02 July 2013

The Working Families Party has cross-endorsed several East Hampton Democratic committee candidates for town office, according to a press release issued last weekend that committee’s chair Jeanne Frankl.

The Working Families Party has endorsed Larry Cantwell for East Hampton Town supervisor, as well as Kathee Burke-Gonzalez and Job Potter for town board. Stephen Tekulsky has earned the party’s nod for town justice; Eugene DePasquale was endorsed for town assessor; and the Bill Taylor, Deborah Klughers and Cathy Rogers earned nods for in their candidacy for East Hampton Town Trustee.

“This is a tribute to the hard work of our candidates,” said Frankl. “Our candidates have an affinity for working families and an understanding of what they go through raising their children and dealing with an up and down economy on the East End. We are very grateful to the Working Families Party for their cross endorsements.”

The endorsed candidates will appear on the Working Families line on the ballot in the November election.
