Little League Clinics Continue

Posted on 29 January 2009

The 2009 Sag Harbor-Bridgehampton Little League continues its winter clinics pre-Super Bowl this Sunday in the Pierson High School gym. Softball players 7-and-up are in first at 1 p.m. followed by softball players 9-and-up at 2 p.m. Those sessions will be led by Pierson varsity softball coach Melissa Edwards and her players.

Baseball players 7-and-up are asked to come in at 3 p.m. and baseball players 9-and-up at 4 p.m. The chapter’s coaching coordinator, Jeff Warne, will lead those two sessions.

There will also be clinics February 8, and March 8 and 15. The clinic on February 8 will be led by All-Pro Sports Academy. Anyone interested in coaching in the baseball program at any level is asked to attend next Sunday from 2:30 to 5 p.m.

Tryouts for players ages 9-to-12, eligible for the softball and baseball programs’ majors and AAA divisions, are set for March 22 at SYS on Majors Path, Southampton. Player registration materials and more in-depth schedules are available at sagharborlittleleague.org.
