Ross School to Host Sports Clinics

The Ross School will host sports clinics starting this Saturday, November 3 for children ages six through 11. The clinics, which will be held at the Ross School tennis center on Goodfriend Drive in East Hampton, will run Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. through December 15.

Brazilian-born tennis pro and multisport coach Joao Casagrande will lead the sessions, which will feature two hours of instructional clinics and games in tennis, soccer and basketball.

Casagrande has competed in tennis tournaments at the national level from the age of 10. During his junior career, he ranked in the top 20 nationally in under 16s and 18s. He went on to play college tennis at Georgia College and State University where he reached the national quarterfinals in 2009.
