Harvey Continues Strong Statistical Season

Pierson senior Drew Harvey, who leads the East Hampton boys lacrosse team, scored five goals in a game against Center Moriches on Saturday, but the Bonackers lost in the end, 10-7, to fall to 3-7 in Division II play. With just three games remaining, the team will likely miss the postseason for another year.

Harvey has been a bright spot for the Bonackers this year and should be a lock for All-County, having posted 29 goals and 23 assists as of Tuesday.

Half Marathon on Saturday

The Bridgehampton Half Marathon will take place this Saturday, May 10, between 8 a.m. and noon. The run will start at 9 a.m. on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton and travel throughout the roads of Sagaponack and Bridgehampton and end back on Ocean Road. A large number of people are expected to attend and traffic delays should be anticipated especially on Ocean Road and Sagg Main Street. Motorists are urged to use caution.

SUP Race to Benefit Peconic Baykeeper

On Saturday, May 10 the Fourth Annual Paddle for the Bays will be held at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor, hosted by Main Beach Surf & Sport and benefitting the non-profit Peconic Baykeeper. The race will include a three-mile recreational race as well as a six-mile elite race on a triangular course set into Northwest Harbor. The event begins at 8 a.m.
