Frances M. Trunzo
Frances M. Trunzo, a resident of Sag Harbor for 86 years, died at home here on Friday, November 7. She was 92 years old.
Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on January 16, 1916, she was the daughter of Louis and Philomena (DeCiccio) Mendicino.
Mrs. Trunzo was a 1933 graduate of Pierson High School and worked at both Bulova and Sag Harbor Industries. She was a member of the Sag Harbor Fire Department Auxiliary.
Mrs. Trunzo was predeceased by her husband, Jack, in 1988. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Fran Stafford, in 1998. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Mitchell and Phyllis Ann Kleinsmith, both of Sag Harbor.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor on Sunday, November 9. A funeral Mass was said at St. Andrew RC Church on Monday, November 10. Interment followed at St. Andrew Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Cormaria Retreat House in Sag Harbor, or East End Hospice.
Ann McNamara Adcock
Ann McNamara Adcock, of Bristol, Conn., died on November 5, at the age of 86. Mrs. Adcock was born in New Haven, Conn., on September 27, 1922 and had worked for many years in the new born nursery at St. Raphael’s Hospital. She was a member of St. Rita’s Church Ladies Guild and was a Eucharistic Minister.
Mrs. Adcock was predeceased by her husband, William H. Adcock, a son Father Basil Adcock, a brother, Joseph McNamara and a sister, Margaret McNamara. She is survived by daughters Margaret Potz of Sag Harbor and Elizabeth Dudek of Bristol.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Rita Church, Bristol on Monday, November 10.
