Piersons Dana Harvey Wrestling 1-9-13.jpg

Pierson senior Dana Harvey wrestled for East Hampton against Shoreham-Wading River on January 9. Both Harvey and East Hampton, which traditionally boasts wrestlers from Pierson every year, lost to Shoreham, one of the best teams in League VI, with an overall score of 58-22. Pierson’s most successful wrestler this year has been Kevin Heine, who picked up a forfeit win against Shoreham and came back on Friday to earn the Bonackers’ lone win against Elwood-John Glenn, a pin that improved his record at 220 pounds to a perfect 3-0 in League VI. Heine was 3-1 in a tournament at Comsewogue on Saturday.

The Bonackers hosted Amityville yesterday, January 16, and will be at Westhampton tomorrow, January 18 before traveling to the North Fork Invitational at Mattituck on Saturday morning.
